Brussels

Having a great time with friends in Brussels. The brick streets are great to walk on. My friend and I have been walking in a nearby park on a daily basis. Wonderful food. Fresh flowers and veggies. This city is so international and we hear a lot of French, Dutch and English. Lian was a hostess at a party in this photo. She made a friend with a Russian gal and earlier in the week made a friend with an American gal living here who goes to a French Immersian school. They have lived all over the world. She's really doing well as we meet new people and have all sorts of new experiences. Today we went to a forest in the middle of the city. We were a bit annoyed to discover ticks - really small ones - on us. I've visited a grocery story, chocolate store, book store, and even a church fundraiser/thrift sale. Tons of touristy things to do as well. I just enjoy walking around the city.
